The creators of the company claim that Quotex is a modern trading platform that offers premium quality in everything. Among the advantages described: transparency, attractive conditions, technology (read reviews about the Quotex broker on the website This is a scam™).
The platform is operated by Awesomo Limited, a company registered in Seychelles. But, unlike other brokers established in “island” jurisdictions, Quotex has a license from the FMRC. This increases the level of trust in the young platform. Let’s study what Quotex.com is and whether it is possible to work with this site.
Trading Rules with Quotex
The main product of the binary options broker Quatex is Digital Option. This is a simplified derivative transaction. A trader, in fact, bets on a decrease or increase in price relative to a given quote. Let’s assume that a client is trading on the USD/RUB market. In a classic exchange transaction, he must first buy dollars for rubles on the fall of the ruble, and then sell dollars at higher quotes.

Quotex does not disclose the source of quotes. The company’s website talks about its innovation platform, but there is no information whether this concerns the terminal. When asked about the source of the quotes, the support team replied that they come from a licensed supplier. We compared the prices in the terminal with the data of the Investing.com portal for the AUD/JPY currency pair. No critical discrepancies were found, the quoting accuracy is up to tenths. Reconciliation with TradingView also revealed no problems.
Demo account

Therefore, customer comments should always be treated with skepticism.
If you analyze online sites with reviews, then Quotex has good ratings. Most of the ratings are positive. On average, Quatex scores 4 stars out of a possible five. More often there are advantages:

But the main advantage of the Seychelles is simple legislation for financial institutions. Companies registered here are not required to require KYC/AML from customers. But they should find out the source of the money by noticing suspicious transactions. Awesomo Limited has received a certificate of conformity from the Russian FMRC. Rules for cooperation with quotex.com

This is a situation that differs from the usual state of the market. In the case of IP, the company is not responsible for customer accounts. Which situations are considered exceptional is not specified. The seventh section describes the responsibilities of the parties. The platform acts only as an intermediary and is not responsible for traders’ losses. Clause 7.4 states that the company has the right to process any transaction on unfavorable terms for the client.
The risk agreement, in a nutshell, can be described as “The client accepts all risks and is responsible for any monetary losses.” According to the regulations of non-trading operations, the company is not obliged to verify the client, but may require him to confirm his identity at his discretion. That is, if Quotex suspects a trader of money laundering, then he will have to demonstrate documents and confirm tax residency. The most interesting points in the rules of trading operations are 4.12 and 4.15. According to them, the trader acknowledges that all quotes in the terminal are reliable, but at the same time, they are advisory in nature and do not reflect the current price of the asset.
Is Quotex a scam and a scammer?
Open sources show that Quotex is an existing company registered in the Seychelles. In addition, she did receive a certificate of conformity from the FMRC, which is confirmed by the FMRC website. Our opinion: Quotex is not a scam. But do not blindly trust this company and make large deposits. It is recommended, to begin with, to test the terminal using a demo account and only then move on to a real account, with a small cash contribution.
Novice traders will be suspicious of an incomprehensible source of quotes in the terminal. Added to this is the platform’s legal documentation, essentially allowing QUOTEX to draw any chart. Quotex is an interesting service. It gives easy access to digital options trading. The terminal is convenient, with a bunch of settings. You can deposit and withdraw money in a dozen ways, among which there are cryptocurrencies. This is one of the few companies that offer a full-fledged demo account that does not differ from the real one. At the same time, the trader is not even required to provide an email address. Quotex has a good support team that responds quickly to customer questions. Given the low minimum deposits, the company will be of interest to novice traders.
