As usual, the focus of the Belgian regulator is on binary options brokerages
The Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) has updated the list of unauthorized brokers, which can be consulted on their website. This institution is at the head of European regulators who work illegally with clients.
The list that the FSMA constantly keeps on its website is constantly updated with new names of the most recent firms that pose a high risk to clients. In search of new replenishments, we noticed several brands of binary options brokers.
In alphabetical order:
- Binat Ltd at the link https://proinvest.trade
- Broker Financial Ltd at www.invest-option.com
- Central Option and Central Provider Ltd, firms hiding behind www.centraloption.com
- GN Capital Ltd, owner of www.pwrtrade.com
- Graham International Ltd, owner https://proinvest.trade
- Invest-Option, under the brand name the www.invest-option.com
Proinvest, the company hiding under the https://proinvest.trade and owner of www.pwrtrade.com, PWRTrade.
The regulator also notes a clone company called Sterling Consultancy Options Ltd.
Belgian regulators are among the most demanding in Europe, especially when it comes to maintaining a blacklist. Local regulators work together with the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers, they jointly monitor the market for problems such as unauthorized binary options firms operating in Europe.
French authorities recently persuaded parliament to pass a law banning the advertising of risky products such as forex and binary options, and the Belgian regulator is trying to restrict access to illegal operators in the Belgian market.
