The XVI The All-Russian Conference of Financial Market Participants, at which, among others, the issues of the development of the Forex market were also discussed. Participants of the Russian and Belarusian markets gathered to discuss issues of Forex regulation, issues of protecting investors from fraudsters, as well as how to eliminate fraudsters in this area. At the beginning of the conference, it was given to the moderator of the round table Dmitry Drigaylo. He started with a brief introduction to what Forex is and its main trading platforms.
Further, we talked about the standards of market regulation. Work on the development of basic standards is still in progress, but the main ones will be adopted before the end of this year.
Further, the question of how to counteract companies that do not have a Forex dealer license was discussed. In Russia at the moment there is a regulated and unregulated Forex. Experts are of the opinion that if a company does not apply for a license because it cannot meet the criteria, then it should not provide services.
And at the same time, Forex representatives say that for more than a year nothing has been done in practice, only in theory.
So, what is the future of Forex in Russia and does it exist at all? Market participants want to believe that there is. But for this you need to make an effort not only in words.
